Yes. Arrivd uses Gmail OAuth 2.0, the same secure authorization used by apps like Notion, Calendly, and Google Calendar. The connection is strictly read-only: Arrivd can see your emails but cannot send, delete, or modify anything in your inbox. You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account settings.

No. Arrivd reads your emails to extract tracking information, but does not store your email content on its servers. Your emails stay in Gmail. Only the tracking data (the package details, carrier, and status) is saved in the app on your device.

Arrivd requests read-only access to your Gmail account. This is the minimum permission required to scan for shipping confirmation emails. Arrivd cannot and does not access your Google Drive, contacts, calendar, or any other Google service.
